Exness deposits and withdrawals

This page collects what the Exness help center says about deposits and withdrawals: who charges fees, how long payments can take, the rules in each direction, and what to check when a payment does not show up or fails.

Information comes from Exness help center articles (checked 2026-10-13). Exness reserves the right to change processing times and to place limits on the availability of payment methods, so details can change. Confirm current details in your Personal Area before you pay.

Does Exness charge for deposits and withdrawals?

BlueSnyaiper

Who charges fees

  • Exness says it does not charge deposit or withdrawal processing fees. Certain payment methods and banks may impose these fees.
  • Exness advises confirming possible fees under the payment method information in your Personal Area.
  • For each payment method, the Personal Area shows the processing time, the fee if applicable, and the minimum and maximum limits. The fee is described as any processing fee from the payment provider.
  • Confirm the current fee details for your payment method in your Personal Area.
  • Exness's article on first-time deposits says most payment methods have no fees on deposits but may require a specific minimum deposit amount.
  • Exness says that for a trading account with no trading activity, it reserves the right to investigate, cancel and/or impose fees or charges on withdrawal requests.

Processing times and weekends

Kocchan

How long does a withdrawal take?

BlueSnyaiper

It varies by payment method. The Personal Area shows an average and a maximum expected time. Most withdrawals finish within the average, but some may take up to the maximum shown.

  • Deposits may be initiated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Processing times vary for each payment method and can be viewed in your Personal Area.
  • Deposits, withdrawals and transfers are available to use on weekends and holidays. Weekends and holidays are not working days, so Exness says to expect delays for anything that may require verification.
  • Withdrawals. The processing time shown in the Personal Area gives both the average and the maximum expected time. Most withdrawals are completed within the average time, but some may take up to the maximum processing time shown.
  • Deposits. The time shown is the average to maximum processing time. The average time is typically what to expect, but deposits can take up to the maximum length shown.
  • Exness Trade app. A deposit reflects in the trading account based on the payment method's processing time. If it has not reflected within the maximum processing time, open History or Transaction in the app, find the transaction and tap Get support to open a ticket.
  • Exness reserves the right to change processing times and to place limits on the availability of payment methods. It asks you to check the payment method availability before making a deposit.
  • Payment methods may become temporarily unavailable during periods of maintenance by payment providers. In that case you can use any other available payment method, or wait until your preferred method is available again. Some payment methods can be offline for routine maintenance, so log in to your Personal Area to confirm current availability.

Withdrawal rules

Can I withdraw to any card or account?

BlueSnyaiper

Exness says the payment method account must be registered to the exact full legal name that matches the name on your Exness account, or the withdrawal will fail.

  • Exness says the payment method account must be registered to the exact full legal name that matches the name registered to your Exness account, or the withdrawal will fail.
  • The withdrawal methods available to you depend on your registered region and account verification status. Check the Withdrawal section of your Personal Area for the methods currently available.
  • Exness's article on withdrawals in the Exness Trade app says withdrawals must comply with payment method priority rules to ensure a prompt transaction. The public help articles we reviewed do not set out those priority rules in full.
  • Double-check entered information, including account numbers, to avoid delays to your withdrawals.
  • If a withdrawal request is made using an unverified bank card without prior deposits, the payout will be rejected, and you will be asked to verify the card before it can be used for withdrawal.
  • There is no limit to the number of withdrawal attempts that can be made in a day. Each payment method has maximum and minimum transaction limits, shown in the Personal Area.
  • The maximum amount that can be withdrawn at any given time is equal to the free margin of the trading account.
  • A withdrawal request cannot be canceled once it is submitted. Exness recommends double-checking all the parameters and details before you submit.
  • A withdrawal from a trading account requires a verification code sent to your registered security type, to verify the owner's identity. In the Exness Trade app you validate the withdrawal by a code via email or SMS, a push notification or an authentication app, then confirm the action.

Steps vary by payment method, but the process is generally as follows.

  1. Open the Withdrawal section of your Personal Area.
  2. Select a payment method from those available.
  3. Complete all required fields, including the withdrawal amount and trading account selection, then select Continue.
  4. Choose Confirm if the withdrawal details are correct.
  5. Confirm the withdrawal with your current security type (steps may vary).
  6. Follow any additional on-screen instructions (if applicable). Once the withdrawal is complete, a confirmation message is displayed and the withdrawal is credited to your chosen payment account.

Before you withdraw, make sure that your trading account has sufficient available funds, that your preferred payment method is available for withdrawals, and that any required account or payment method verification has been completed.

  • Prepaid cards. Exness accepts deposits from prepaid cards issued by banks and other payment institutions, and the card must be issued to a name that exactly matches the Exness account holder. Deposits with prepaid cards are subject to a refund request: the amount used to deposit must be withdrawn fully before any profit withdrawals. You can use Transaction History in your Personal Area to track the deposits that need to be refunded.
  • Prepaid card withdrawals. Some payment institutions that issue prepaid cards may not support profit withdrawals, and the withdrawal request will then be rejected. The withdrawal amount is returned to your trading account in a few hours, and you can use any other available payment method instead. You may need to contact support to verify the chosen payment method.
  • Bank card refunds. Any pending bank card refunds are displayed at the top of the Withdraw tab. Transaction history includes bank card refunds under Refunds.

Deposit rules and currency

  • Third-party payments are not allowed. Payment accounts must be registered under your full legal name and match the name registered to your Exness account.
  • All payments should be initiated in your Personal Area, where all the necessary information is provided. Exness asks you to avoid direct payments initiated outside your Personal Area.
  • Steps vary by payment method, but a deposit generally goes like this: open the Deposit section of your Personal Area, select a payment method from those available, complete all required fields (including the deposit amount and trading account selection) and select Continue, choose Confirm if the summary of your deposit is correct, then follow further on-screen instructions for your chosen payment method until the deposit is complete.
  • Exness's article on how to deposit lists these things to check before making a deposit: that your account is fully verified, that your payment method is available in your region, and that the payment account is registered in your name. Exness describes deposit limits that depend on the verification level (see the verification section below), and some regions disable deposits until the account is fully verified.
  • Payment methods present a minimum deposit requirement that applies to every deposit, not only the first deposit. If a deposit is less than the amount needed for the payment method, an error message appears in your Personal Area.
  • Minimum deposit requirements may differ between the first deposit and later deposits. The first-time deposit amount depends on both the trading account type and the payment method chosen. After the first deposit, the minimum amount depends only on the chosen payment method.
  • The New Order button appears grayed out and inactive in the MetaTrader 5 trading terminal if the MT5 trading account has not had a successful minimum first-time deposit fully processed. A "Trade is Disabled" error message appears in the trading platform when you open an order before the minimum deposit requirements are met.
  • Exness does not offer any kind of bonus, such as a welcome bonus, deposit bonus or trading bonus.
  • Currency. Choose the currency during the deposit carefully, because the same currency must be used during withdrawal. The currency you choose does not need to match the trading account currency, and exchange rates apply at the moment of the transaction.
  • The currency of a trading account cannot be changed once it is selected. If you need a specific account currency, create a new account in your Personal Area. Conversions apply when you deposit or withdraw in a currency different from the account currency.
  • Exness's article on first-time deposits says that depositing the same currency set for your trading account avoids conversion charges, otherwise you should take note of the conversion rate before depositing.
  • If a conversion is necessary, you are notified of the current live conversion rate during the transaction. The currency converter tool is for reference only, as rates are refreshed by the minute.
  • The Currency Converter can compare up to 6 currencies at the same time in real time, and it is in the Tools & Services menu at the top right under the ? icon of the Personal Area.
  • The minimum transaction amount varies from method to method and is calculated after any conversions to the account currency. Transacting in your account currency prevents conversions from complicating this requirement.

Payment methods, verification and limits

  • The payment methods you can use depend on your registered region, the verification status of your Exness account, and the current availability of the payment provider. The registered region is the one used when your Exness account was created, and it cannot be changed later.
  • Regional methods are only available in the region where you registered your Exness account.
  • Only the methods displayed in the selected tab are currently available for that transaction. If a payment method is not shown, it may currently be unavailable for your account or region.
  • Use the Deposit and Withdrawal screens in your Personal Area to see the payment methods available to you.
  • A Recommended tag means the method is highly successful in your registered region.
  • Each payment method has a guide on how to use it, under its FAQ section in the Personal Area.
  • Bank cards. Exness describes the CVV as the 3-digit number on the back of VISA or Mastercard branded debit or credit cards. You will be asked to key in your CVV number when making any bank card transaction with Exness.
  • Saved methods. The payment methods used for successful deposit or withdrawal transactions are saved in your Personal Area for future use, and they appear as My saved methods at the top of the Deposit and Withdrawal tabs. Saved methods are only visible after a successful deposit or withdrawal. Currently, saved payment methods cannot be deleted, except for expired bank cards, and a saved method cannot be changed. To add a new saved method, make a deposit or withdrawal using the method you prefer.

Verification and deposit limits, as Exness describes them:

  • With only a registered email address and/or phone number and personal information, the deposit limit across all trading accounts is low.
  • With a completed economic profile and a valid proof of identity (POI) document, a deposit limit remains, but more can be deposited than before.
  • With a valid proof of address (POA) document accepted as well, the account is fully verified with no deposit limitations, other than what is possible based on the payment method chosen.
  • Some regions disable deposits altogether until the account is fully verified.
  • A few payment methods impose a daily, weekly or even monthly maximum transaction amount. You are notified in your Personal Area during a transaction attempt if you have reached your limit.
  • In some cases, payment accounts might be subject to verification of payment account ownership. Some payment methods require additional verification of the payment account before they can be used.
  • You may be asked for a face scan to verify a payment method when depositing or withdrawing, when changing a security type, or when resolving account ownership verification. If you are asked to verify a payment method and the face scan is rejected, you can no longer use the chosen payment method or any other method that requires face scan verification, but you can still use alternative methods that do not require one.
  • If you travel outside your registered country temporarily, you can still use your trading accounts as long as your active security type is accessible to validate deposit and withdrawal actions.

Changes to your security settings can affect withdrawals.

  • Withdrawal actions from any trading account in the Personal Area become disabled for 24 hours if the security type is changed via face scan. A security type change made by you may also, in some cases, trigger a temporary withdrawal restriction of up to 24 hours. After your security type is switched to email, withdrawals are disabled for 24 hours.
  • Adding a new phone number makes that number the active security type. Some payment methods requiring additional verification may be blocked after a phone number change; select Get support in the Transaction History tab of your Personal Area to open a ticket and reverify that payment method.

When a payment does not show up or fails

  • Deposit not reflecting. Filter the Transaction history to deposits only and open the deposit transaction; the details shown can help you understand how it is being processed. If you need further assistance, click Get support to raise a support request.
  • Withdrawal not reflecting. Filter the Transaction history to withdrawals only and open the withdrawal transaction; the details shown can let you know how it is being processed. If the maximum processing time has passed and the withdrawal is still not reflecting, raise a support request from Transaction history.
  • Transaction history. It lists every transaction made in your Personal Area, including deposits, withdrawals, internal transfers and refunds (bank card refunds included). Each transaction is shown as Done (completed), Processing (not yet complete) or Rejected (canceled, with reasons that may vary). Opening an item shows a transaction summary with the invoice ID and a detailed timeline, and Get support raises support requests for payment-related transactions.
  • Account not available for deposits or withdrawals. Exness lists these reasons: the account is archived (archived accounts cannot be used for financial operations, and you restore them from the My Accounts tab), the account is disabled (create a ticket in the support hub to request re-activation), verification is incomplete (deposits and withdrawals are limited until it is completed), or account-specific restrictions apply.
  • Archived accounts. Funds left in an archived trading account remain, but the account must be reactivated to restore its transaction options.
  • Balance is zero after a deposit. Open History in your trading platform and check whether there have been any recent stop-out instances or unexpectedly closed orders. The balance shown in the Personal Area is updated frequently, but it's possible that it has not yet been updated to reflect the actual balance shown in your trading platform. If you checked this and cannot spot the cause, open the Transaction history in your Personal Area, select the deposit transaction and choose Get Support to open a support ticket.
  • "Insufficient funds" error. This error indicates that there are not enough available funds in the trading account to complete the withdrawal request. Exness lists these things to confirm: that there are no open positions on the trading account, that the trading account selected for the withdrawal is the correct one, that there are enough funds for withdrawal in the chosen trading account, and the conversion rate of the currency selected, which the article names as a cause of an insufficient amount of funds being requested. If the issue persists, open a ticket in the support hub for assistance.
  • Amount looks rounded down. A withdrawal amount that includes decimal values may, in some cases, appear rounded down when the balance is shown, and this is limited to certain currencies only. Exness says the amount specified remains the amount withdrawn, and the displayed balance does not represent the actual withdrawal.
  • Negative balance or equity. If you deposited money into a trading account with a negative balance and want to recover the balance lost, create a ticket in the support hub. Exness strongly recommends waiting until the negative balance is reset to 0, in a process called a null operation. When money is deposited into an account with negative equity but a positive balance, the negative equity is not covered by Negative Balance Protection and the difference is deducted from the deposit.
  • Before closing your account. If payment problems make you consider closing your account, Exness suggests submitting a Payment Support Form to consult its specialist team before terminating. It says its specialist team or your payment service provider can resolve most payment-related barriers.

Moving money between trading accounts

  • You can transfer funds between trading accounts in the same or different Personal Areas using the Withdrawal tab. For transfers within your own Personal Area, you can also use the Deposit tab.
  • To transfer funds to a trading account in a different Personal Area, you need that user's trading account number and registered email address, or the transfer will not be completed.
  • The Balance at the top of the Personal Area is the collective free margin of all your trading accounts, and Transfer or Withdraw there starts the transaction from the Withdrawal tab.
  • The trading account manager in Exness Terminal has deposit, withdrawal and internal transfer features. The Exness Trade app also lets you make deposits, withdrawals and transfers.

Does Exness charge fees for deposits and withdrawals?

Exness says it does not charge deposit or withdrawal processing fees. Certain payment methods and banks may impose these fees, so confirm possible fees under the payment method information in your Personal Area. Exness also reserves the right to impose fees or charges on withdrawal requests from trading accounts with no trading activity.

How long does a withdrawal take?

It varies by payment method. The Personal Area shows an average and a maximum expected processing time, and most withdrawals are completed within the average time, but some may take up to the maximum shown. Weekends and holidays are not working days, so Exness says to expect delays for anything that may require verification.

Is there a minimum or maximum withdrawal amount?

Each payment method has maximum and minimum transaction limits, shown in the Personal Area. There is no limit to the number of withdrawal attempts that can be made in a day. The maximum amount that can be withdrawn at any given time is equal to the free margin of the trading account. A few payment methods also impose a daily, weekly or monthly maximum transaction amount.

Does a withdrawal have to go back to the payment method I deposited with?

Exness's article on withdrawals in the Exness Trade app says withdrawals must comply with payment method priority rules, but the public help articles we reviewed do not set out those rules in full. What the help center does state is that the payment method account must be registered to the exact full legal name that matches the name registered to your Exness account, or the withdrawal will fail. It also says that deposits with prepaid cards are subject to a refund request, and that pending bank card refunds are displayed at the top of the Withdraw tab. The withdrawal methods available to you are shown in the Withdrawal section of your Personal Area.

Do prepaid card deposits have to be withdrawn first?

Exness says deposits with prepaid cards are subject to a refund request, and the amount used to deposit must be withdrawn fully before any profit withdrawals. Some payment institutions that issue prepaid cards may not support profit withdrawals; the request is then rejected, the amount is returned to the trading account in a few hours, and you can use any other available payment method.

Can I cancel a withdrawal after I submit it?

No. Exness says a withdrawal request cannot be canceled once it is submitted. It recommends double-checking all the parameters and details before you submit.

Why is my withdrawal not showing up?

Filter the Transaction history to withdrawals only and open the withdrawal transaction to see how it is being processed. If the maximum processing time shown has passed and it is still not reflecting, raise a support request from Transaction history.

What does the "Insufficient funds" error mean?

It indicates that there are not enough available funds in the trading account to complete the withdrawal request.
